Autodesk 360 Structural Analysis Perform static analysis for various buildings from the cloud. Easily calculate different variants of the same model and use analysis results to inform design decisions earlier in the process with Autodesk® 360 structural analysis available on Autodesk Subscription.
Parametric Components Parametric Components, also known as families, are the basis for all building components designed in Revit. They offer an open, graphical system for design thinking and form making as well as an opportunity to express design intent at increasingly detailed levels. Use Parametric Components for the most elaborate assemblies, such as cabinetry and equipment, as well as for the most elementary building parts, such as walls and columns. Best of all, no programming language or coding is required.
Citrix Readiness & 64 bit Support Revit features support for Citrix® XenApp™6, giving you more flexibility and options for working from remote locations using a local server. Revit also provides native 64-bit support, helping improve performance and stability for memory-intensive tasks such as rendering, printing, model upgrading, and file importing and exporting.
Bidirectional Associativity A change anywhere is a change everywhere. In Revit, all model information is stored in 1 place. As a result, any information that gets changed is effectively changed throughout the Revit model.
Revit Server Revit® Server helps project teams in different locations to more easily collaborate on shared Revit models across a wide-area network (WAN). This Revit feature helps you maintain an integrated collection of central Revit models on a single server that can be accessed from local servers. Built-in redundancy helps provide protection in case of WAN connectivity loss.
Worksharing Worksharing distributes the power of the parametric building modeling environment across the project team. Multiple users can share the same intelligent building information model and save their work to a central file.
Vault Integration Autodesk® Vault Collaboration AEC software is designed to work with Revit. This integration helps streamline data management associated with architecture, engineering, and multidiscipline projects—from planning through design and construction. It can help save time and improve data accuracy. Now you won't even know you’re doing data management and can focus on the project, not the data.
Multiple Materials Modeling Autodesk Revit and Revit Structure software include building materials such as steel, cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete, masonry, and wood. Since the buildings you design are constructed of multiple building materials, Revit building software enables you to model your structure using the materials you need.
