• Empower our customers to make simpler, smarter, more sustainable design decisions
• Boost awareness and adoption of sustainable design practices
• Optimize the environmental impact of our own operations

Rapid Energy Modeling
Autodesk has developed a workflow for rapid energy modeling, a streamlined process for building energy assessments. This workflow leapfrogs traditional energy modeling and building audit techniques, helping to reduce time and costs.

Autodesk Sets Corporate Greenhouse Gas Target
Autodesk has developed—and is committed to using—a new approach for setting corporate greenhouse gas targets. This approach aligns with global scientific climate stabilization targets and considers companies’ relative contribution to the economy.

Autodesk Measures Carbon Footprint of AutoCAD
We measured the product’s footprint when delivered as a physical product versus software download. The results show that materials extraction and processing is the most carbon-intensive activity in the product’s life cycle, and software download is 5 times more carbon efficient than distributing a fully packaged product.
