Autodesk Measures Carbon Footprint of AutoCAD
We measured the product’s footprint when delivered as a physical product versus software download. The results show that materials extraction and processing is the most carbon-intensive activity in the product’s life cycle, and software download is 5 times more carbon efficient than distributing a fully packaged product. |
