Autodesk is proud to sponsor Russ Wicks and the American Challenge Speed Record Team in their quest to break world land and water speed records. American Challenge is a consortium of successful business leaders, innovative technical engineers, and motor-sport professionals focused on bringing world land and water speed records back to the United States.

In an attempt to break these records, Wicks will work with Autodesk, plus an all-star crew of engineers, mechanics, and technology specialists to push these machines to the limit, while enduring the trials and tribulations of planning and executing a speed record attempt.

To achieve their goal, American Challenge has obtained the best aerospace, hydro/fluid dynamics, boat-racing design, and manufacturing expertise available in the world. Members of the American Challenge Technical Team were chosen from premier high-technology laboratories across the nation.
