Computers running Windows XP

  • Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
  • If "x64 Edition" is listed under System, you’re running the 64-bit version of Windows XP.
  • If you don’t see "x64 Edition" listed under System, you’re running the 32-bit version of Windows XP.

The edition of Windows XP you're running is displayed under System near the top of the window.

Computers running Windows Vista or Windows 7

  • Click the Start button, right-click Computer, and then click Properties.
  • If "64-bit Operating System" is listed next to System type, you’re running the 64-bit version of Windows Vista or Windows 7.
  • If "32-bit Operating System" is listed next to System type, you’re running the 32-bit version of Windows Vista or Windows 7.

The edition of Windows Vista or Windows 7 you're running is displayed under Windows edition near the top of the window.

Download Instructions

  1. Close all open applications.
  2. Click Download Now. In Microsoft® Internet Explorer®, click Run, click Run again, and then Install. In Firefox®, click Save File; once file is saved, click the .exe icon in the dialog box.
  3. Select Install.
  4. Follow the Installation Wizard instructions to complete the installation.

For 32-Bit AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012

  • Microsoft® Windows® 7 (recommended) Enterprise, Ultimate, or Professional edition, Microsoft® Windows Vista® Enterprise, Business, or Ultimate edition (SP2 or later), or Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional edition (SP3 or later)
  • For Windows 7 or Windows Vista: Intel® Pentium® 4 processor or AMD Athlon™ dual-core processor, 3.0 GHz or faster with SSE2 technology
  • For Windows XP: Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon dual-core processor, 1.6 GHz or faster with SSE2 technology
