Conflict between AutoCAD® Electrical 2008 and downloaded version of Design Review 2008 Issue
You installed AutoCAD® Electrical 2008 on a computer that already had the downloaded version of Autodesk® Design Review 2008 installed on it, and now the AutoCAD Electrical Project Database cannot connect to the Microsoft Jet Database Engine. Note: All solutions related to resolving the issues for older versions of AutoCAD Electrical do not work. Solution
This issue is caused by the build used for the downloaded version of Design Review 2008. To resolve the issue - Uninstall AutoCAD® Electrical 2008 from Add or Remove Programs in Windows.
- Uninstall Design Review from Add or Remove Programs.
- Install AutoCAD Electrical 2008.
- Install Design Review 2008 directly from the AutoCAD Electrical 2008 DVD/CD.
AutoCAD Electrical 2008 should now be able to communicate with the Microsoft Jet Database Engine.
