Revit® crashes when elements are moved or selected

Published date: 2007-Apr-24
ID: TS1070104

Applies to:
AutoCAD Revit MEP Suite 2008
Revit® Architecture 2008
Revit® Structure 2008

Issue

When you move or select elements, Revit® crashes.

Solution

This problem may occur if the Use Overlay Planes to Improve Display Performance check box is not selected. To prevent Revit® from crashing, verify that this check box, which is located on the Graphics tab of the Options dialog box, is selected, as it is by default.

This option is intended to improve performance. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you keep it enabled.
