AutoCAD® 2009
AutoCAD® 2008
AutoCAD LT® 2008
Autodesk® VIZ 2008

Issue

When installing the CAD Manager Tools, you selected the Configure option and specified a custom installation location. However, the CAD Manager Tools were installed to the default path, C:\Program Files\Autodesk\CAD Manager Tools, anyway.

Solution

This issue may occur if the default Setup wizard is used to install the CAD Manager Tools. To correct this behavior, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start menu (Windows) > Settings > Control Panel.
  2. In Control Panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs.
  3. Uninstall the Autodesk CAD Manager Tools.
  4. Insert the Autodesk product disk.
  5. Close the Setup wizard when it appears.
  6. On the Autodesk product disk, browse to and run the following file:

    ..\Support\CADManager\Setup.exe

  7. Follow the instructions in the Installation wizard and modify the installation directory, as desired.
