Questions marks displayed on buttons of customized toolbar

Issue

You created a new toolbar and added commands to the CUI file for the toolbar. However, when you loaded the CUI file, the toolbar buttons displayed question marks instead of the correct icon images.

Solution

To display the correct icon on the customized toolbar buttons

  1. Copy the acadm.dll file to the folder where you have created the custom CUI file, and rename it using the same base file name as that of the CUI file (for example, partial.dll if partial.cui is the corresponding CUI file)
  2. Remove any <cui name>.mnr file contained in this folder.
  3. Restart AutoCAD® Mechanical.
