Installing VIZ Render with Architectural Desktop 2007

Issue

After you installed Architectural Desktop 2007, you noticed that you do not have a shortcut icon for VIZ Render. You also noticed that the link to the VIZ Render option was unavailable.

Solution

Unless specified during the installation of Architectural Desktop, VIZ Render will not be installed.

To install VIZ Render after you have installed Architectural Desktop

  1. On the Start menu (Windows), click Settings > Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
  3. Select Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2007 from the list and click Change.
  4. Select Add or Remove Feature and click Next.
  5. Click the icon next to VIZ Render and select Will be installed on local hard drive.
  6. Continue with the installation.
