Properties palette is missing Issue
You could see the Properties palette title, but no properties were shown when you selected an object. The Properties palette could not be resized.
You have Norton System Works installed on your system. Solution
Norton System Works, and other similar programs, can clean the registry after a system scan for viruses. During the registry cleanup some features in Architectural Desktop are broken, including the ability to use the Properties Palette. To fix this issue, you need to perform a repair installation of Architectural Desktop 2006. Follow these steps: - On the Start menu (Windows), select Settings > Control Panel.
- In Control Panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs.
- In the Add or Remove Programs dialog box, select Architectural Desktop 2006 and click Change.
- Select Reinstall or Repair Architectural Desktop 2006.
- Select Repair errors in my Architectural Desktop 2006 installation.
- Click Next and follow the instructions to complete the installation.
- After the installation is complete, reboot your computer.
When you relaunch Architectural Desktop 2006, the Properties palette should work correctly.
