ESRI® Shape files are not listed when imported using Autodesk Map Issue
When you try to import ESRI® Shape files, the file names are not listed in the Import Location dialog box in Autodesk Map™.
Solution
To import ESRI shape files:
- On the Map menu, click Tools > Import.
- In the Import Location dialog box, select ESRI Shape from the Files of Type drop-down list.
- Browse to the folder that contains the SHP file(s) that you want to import and click OK.
- In the Import dialog box, select each SHP file that you want to import. Each SHP is listed separately in the Input Layer column.
- After you have selected all of the files that you want to import, click OK.
