You need to use one of the Autodesk® Object Enablers, but do not know which version is appropriate for your requirements.

Solution

Autodesk® Object Enablers are freely downloadable collaboration utilities that enable you to use an Autodesk product to view and manipulate custom objects from other Autodesk products such as:

  • Autodesk® Architectural Desktop
  • Autodesk® Building Systems
  • Autodesk® Civil 3D 
  • Autodesk® Land Desktop
  • Autodesk® Map 3D 
  • Autodesk® Mechanical Desktop®
  • Autodesk® Raster Design
