Issue

When you loaded a Stitcher project, the following error message was displayed:

Error during file load. Reverting to empty document.

Solution

If there are non-standard or special characters in the file path of the project file, this error will occur.

Make sure that your project file name and path do not contain special characters, such as # * % ! “ / < > |, or accented letters.

Another possible cause of this error is that you have moved the files after creating a new project. In this case, either move the files back to the original location or edit the project file with a text editor and specify the correct directory.
