Issue

While you were navigating around a model, Autodesk® NavisWorks® crashed.

Solution

Crashes that occur during navigation are usually caused by an issue with the graphics card driver.

To determine whether the crash is related to the graphics card driver

  1. Start NavisWorks.
  2. Click Tools menu > Global Options > Interface > Display.
  3. Clear the Hardware Acceleration check box.
  4. Exit NavisWorks.
  5. Start NavisWorks and open your model.

If the same crash occurs, then the cause is most likely the graphics card drivers. Check with the manufacturer of your graphics card to verify that you have the latest available drivers installed. If newer drivers are available, install them and then turn Hardware Acceleration back on (click Tools menu > Global Options > Interface > Display).

If new drivers are not available, or installing newer drivers does not resolve the issue, leave Hardware Acceleration turned off.
