Issue

You created a dynamic block that contains a visibility parameter and created multiple visibility states for it. However, when you added additional blocks, the same state was set. You want to know how to set the default state.

Solution

To set the default visibility state

  1. Open the block in the Block Editor.
  2. On the right side of the Block Editor toolbar, you will see the Visibility Utility buttons. Click the Manage Visibility States button.
  3. Using the Move Up and Move Down buttons, rearrange your states so that the top state in the list is your desired default state.
  4. Save your block and close the Block Editor.
