Elements displayed as wireframe in 3D view even though the view is set to hidden or shaded

Published date: 2008-Aug-19
ID: TS1088046

Applies to:
Revit® Architecture 2009

Issue

You rendered your project using 3D View Shade mode. However, the project was not rendered completely, and some of the elements were displayed as wireframe.

When you selected any of the elements in that view, the program became unresponsive or crashed. In addition, you noticed that the camera view works as expected. Only the default 3D view is affected.

Solution

To resolve this issue

  1. Right-click the 3D view in the project browser. Click Delete.
  2. Click the 3D button on the toolbar to create a new 3D view.
