Error: Vault Add-in or Vault Explorer 2008 is not compatible with the version of Vault Server Issue
You installed the patch to allow AutoCAD® Civil 3D® 2008 to connect to the Autodesk Data Management Server (ADMS) 2009, but when you tried to connect, you received the following error message: AutoCAD Vault AddIn (or Vault Explorer) is not compatible with the Autodesk Data Management Server hosting the following server applications
 Solution
The error indicates that the Vault Add-in or Vault Explorer 2008 is not compatible with the version of Vault Server 2009 (13.0.47.00). To resolve this error - Uninstall Vault Explorer 2008.
- Install Vault 2009.
- Once Vault 2009 has been installed, download and apply the following patch to allow Civil 3D 2008 to communicate with the Vault Server 2009:

Important! As noted in the Readme file included with DL11225299, you must perform the following steps before you install the AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008 - Autodesk Vault 2009 (Server) Support Patch: - Uninstall Autodesk Vault Explorer 2008.
- Uninstall Autodesk Design Review.
- Install Autodesk Vault 2009 (Client) from the AutoCAD Civil 3D 2009 product media.
