Far Clipping parameter of linked views was not displayed in section or elevation views

Published date: 2008-Aug-18
ID: TS1085746

Applies to:
Revit® Architecture 2009
Revit® MEP 2009
Revit® Structure 2009

Issue

You linked a file into your project and set it to be displayed in a section or elevation view, using the By Linked View option. However, the Far Clipping parameter settings were not displayed.

Solution

Although linked files can now be displayed By Linked View in sections, elevations, and 3D views, the Far Clipping Parameter in section and elevation views will always be displayed according to the settings of the host view and not the settings of the linked view settings, even when the link is set to be displayed using the By Linked View option.
