Diameter symbol displayed instead of radius symbol in French version of Revit®

Published date: 2008-Aug-15

Applies to:
Revit® Architecture 2008

Issue

While using the radial dimensions tool, you noticed that a D (diamètre) symbol was displayed instead of an R (rayon) symbol, even though the dimension actually measures the radius.

Solution

You can use the following workaround in order to display the correct symbol for your dimensions:

  1. Select the dimension.
  2. Right-click the dimension. Click Element Properties.
  3. Click Modifier/Nouveau.
  4. Clear the Afficher le Préfixe de Rayon check box, and then click OK.
  5. In the Element Properties dialog box, add a manual prefix (for example, R) in the Préfixe box.
