Cannot delete a linked .bmp file Issue
You inserted and linked a .bmp image in your Inventor part model. You tried to delete the image later, but the Delete option was missing or grayed out. You then tried to break the link to the . bmp file, but the Break link option was also grayed out. Solution
The Break link command is working as designed. This command is used to fix a corruption in the file, not to delete unresolved links. To delete a non-corrupt link, you should use the same mechanism that was used to add the link so that the references to the link will be removed correctly.
