These downloads include the FLEXlm Licensing Server Tools software for use with license servers running Windows XP (or Windows 2000), Mac OS X, Linux, IRIX, HPUX or SUN Solaris.
The version of these Licensing tools is 10.8.0.7. This version is required to run a license server for Autodesk Maya 8.
Please note, this version of the tools will work, but is not required, to run a license server for Autodesk Maya 7.x, StudioTools 13, or ImageStudio 3, MotionBuilder 7.5 or Showcase 2007.
Note: For each operating system, the download package will contain the following components:
lmgrd - License Server Daemon
sgiawd - License Server Vendor Daemon
lmutil - General Licensing Utility
findkey - License Installation Tools
Hardware Lock (dongle) drivers
Step 1: Download Tools and Instructions
Important: Autodesk strongly recommends you uninstall the previous version of your licensing tools before installing the new version.
Choose the correct FLEXlm software and installation instructions PDF file for your operating system.
This will download version 10.8.0.7 of the FLEXlm Licensing Server Tools.
Step 2: Obtain and install your Floating License
After you have downloaded and installed your license server software you may need to obtain and install your Floating license.
If you are a Platinum member, your license may be included in our on-line Licensing tool.
