StudioTools 13.0.2 "Service Pack" Fix on Fail Release

StudioTools 13 Continuity Evaluation Changes
In V13, the way curvature continuity is evaluated in Studio has been changed. Studio now uses a relative check for curvature continuity evaluation instead of the absolute difference check that was used in prior versions. The StudioTools 13 Continuity Evaluation Changes document describes the changes, the reasoning behind the changes and also explains how users can interpret the results during their modeling process.

Please follow these downloading and installation instructions for StudioTools 13.0.2.

StudioTools 13.0.2 for Windows

1. Prior to installing StudioTools 13.0.2 it is required that StudioTools 13.0 be uninstalled. Go to Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs to remove StudioTools 13.0.
2. Click the StudioTools 13.0.2 Windows link to download the str_studio13_02_win.zip file to your machine.
   
   Note: If you are not immediately prompted to save the download, you may need to force a download. To do so Right-click the link
   
   
3. You are prompted for a location to store str_studio13_02_win.zip.
4. Save the download to a disk with lots of space. Depending on your system configuration, you may require free disk space on your C: drive equivalent to 2 or 3 times the size of the download.
5. When the download is complete, double-click str_studio13_02_win.zip to extract the archive.
6. Browse to the folder where you extracted the archive. The folder is called studio13_02_win_install.
7. Double-click on the file setup.exe in that folder.
8. Proceed with the installation by following the Installation instructions.

StudioTools 13.0.2 for IRIX

1. Click the StudioTools 13.0.2 IRIX link.

   Note: If you are not immediately prompted to save the download, you may need to force a download. To do so Right-click the link

2. The software is downloaded and Software Manager is launched. If Software Manager does not launch automatically, enter the following case-sensitive command:
   

   swmgr -f /path/to/downloaded/file/str_studio13_02_irix.tardist

3. Enter your root password when prompted.
4. Click Execute and then Start in the Software Manager to start installation
5. Click Exit
6. A prompt appears asking if you want to save or remove this distribution.
7. Turn on Save this distribution if you will be installing on other machines
   or
   Turn on Remove this distribution if you won't be installing on other machines.
