Mapping project to a folder other than the default folder when using Autoloader

Issue

When using Autoloader, you want to be able to map your projects to a folder other than the default folder Designs. Or you want to change the name of the Designs folder.

Solution

You have to create (or edit if it already exists) an XML file named Buu.xml and check it in to the main Vault root "$" folder. Follow these steps:

  1. Open Microsoft® Notepad.
  2. Enter the following text in a new text document:

    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <BUData>
      <ProjectName>MyProject.ipj</ProjectName>
      <LibraryName>MyLibrary</LibraryName>
    </BUData>

    Note: Replace MyProject with the name of the desired folder and MyLibrary with the name of the desired library folder, if you have one.
  3. Save the text file as Buu.xml
  4. Check the Buu.xml file in to Vault in the main root "$" folder.
    Note: If the Buu.xml file is already present in your Vault root folder, just delete or overwrite it.
  5. Start Autoloader and load the desired project, the mapping folder will be MyProject and the mapping folder for library files will be MyLibrary.
