When attempting to perform certain operations in Vault Explorer or Productstream it was necessary to have Inventor files migrated to the latest release of Inventor. This hotfix allows Rename, Copy Design, Move File, Edit Properties, Replace File operations to be performed without the need to migrate the files to the latest release of Inventor. This hotfix is only applicable for Inventor files created with Inventor 5.3 and later.
In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released this hotfix which addresses allowing the following operations on legacy versions of vaulted Inventor files, without requiring an Inventor migration.
Rename Files and Folders
Copy Design
Move Files and Folders
Edit Properties
Replace File
Known Issues This hotfix will not address iParts or iAssemblies migration. These still need to be migrated with the Task Scheduler or by checking out in Inventor.
Warnings This hotfix must be installed on all Vault Explorer or Productstream clients wishing to perform these operations on legacy Inventor files.
