Autodesk Civil 3D 2007 Service Pack 3

In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released Autodesk® Civil 3D® 2007 Service Pack 3, which fixes or addresses a variety of issues discovered by customers and by Autodesk's internal testing team.

Numerous performance and capacity improvements, including:

• 2x increase in corridor processing
• 5x contour label regenerations, and more!)
• Decreased creation and load time for drawings attached to Vault projects
• Restoration of non-project shortcuts
• Most recent updates to AutoCAD® 2007, Autodesk Map® 3D 2007

This Service Pack is intended for all versions of Autodesk® Civil 3D® 2007 including those that already have Service Pack 1A and 2 installed.

Note: A separate German version of this service pack is available below.

To determine if you have a Locked or Unlocked version of the software, go to the Help menu in Civil 3D® 2007 and select About Autodesk Civil 3D. Select the Product Information button in the About window. In the Product Information window, the License Type should will read either Stand Alone - Locked or Stand Alone - Unlocked. After determining which version of the software you have, download the appropriate service pack below.

Important:

• Autodesk® Vault 5 Service Pack 1
  Autodesk Civil 3D 2007 Service Pack 3 requires the installation of Autodesk Data Management Server 5 Service Pack 1. Download and install this Service Pack for the Vault Server before running Autodesk Civil 3D 2007 Service Pack 3.
  
  

• Autodesk® Civil 3D® 2007 Extension for Google Earth™
  Autodesk Civil 3D 2007 Service Pack 3 will disable the Autodesk Civil 3D 2007 SP2 Extension For Google Earth. You will need to update your Autodesk Civil 3D 2007 Extension For Google Earth. You must have Autodesk Civil 3D 2007 Service Pack 3 installed before you can install the Autodesk Civil 3D 2007 SP3 Extension For Google Earth.

• Project Management in Autodesk Civil 3D 2007
  With the restoration of non-project shortcuts, there are now two ways to handle project management in Civil 3D 2007: shortcuts or Vault. This new document explains the main options for designing a project management system in Autodesk Civil 3D 2007, including best practices and procedures.
