Error 1606: Could not access network location
When you used the "Run as" option from the shortcut menu in Windows to launch the product installer or an install script, the install failed and you received the following error message:
Error 1606 Could not access network location
This issue occurs because the installer tries to place files into another user's profile where you do not have write access. During the program installation, the installer must have access to write to various locations in the Windows user profile. You must be logged in as a user with administrative rights to install the product successfully.
"Run as" installation methods have not been tested and are not supported for Autodesk products, unless explicitly mentioned in the product's installation documentation.
