The Autodesk Building Systems 2006 Object Enabler is a freeware application that allows object data created in Autodesk Building Systems 2006 to be accessed outside the Autodesk Building Systems environment.

Note: If a drawing includes Autodesk Building Systems objects from Autodesk Building Systems 2004 or an earlier release and the drawing is saved from an Autodesk application with the Autodesk Building Systems 2006 Object Enabler installed, those objects are converted to the newer versions specific to Autodesk Building Systems 2005 and 2006. After the Autodesk Building Systems objects are converted, they can only be opened as proxy graphics in previous releases of the software. To avoid this situation, use the appropriate Object Enabler version to open these drawings.
