Error 25001. An unknown error occurred when initializing Raster Design 2005
Select the correct language version to download: Important: This solution applies to non-English (German, French, Italian) versions of Autodesk® Raster Design 2005 only. For English versions see TS84878. When you try to install or uninstall Autodesk® Raster Design 2005, you receive the following error:
Installer Information Error 25001. An unknown error occurred while trying to initialize Autodesk® Raster Design 2005 components. Please contact Product Support.
This error indicates that you have uninstalled the AutoCAD® 2005 product that Autodesk® Raster Design 2005 was bound to prior to uninstalling Autodesk® Raster Design 2005. Use the following procedure in order to uninstall Raster Design:
- Uninstall AutoCAD® or other base product if not already done.
- Download and extract the below posted language corresponding ZIP file and run the batch utility.
- Delete the following folders on your hard disk:
- c:\Programs\Common Files\Autodesk Shared
- c:\Programs\Autodesk Raster Design (or the Autodesk Raster Design installation folder if not found in default path).
- c:\Progams\Autodesk Map 2005 (or the Autodesk Map installation folder if not found in default path).
- Open the registry editor and delete folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk
- Reinstall the AutoCAD® 2005 product, then reinstall Autodesk® Raster Design 2005.
