Autodesk GIS Design Server 8 SP1 provides updates to the Client Components and Generic Application to support Autodesk Map 6.

Autodesk GIS Design Server 8 SP1 does not support Autodesk Map 5 or earlier. It does include support for block attributes synchronization. For more information on the enhancements and updates in SP1, download the Release Notes.

    • Installation Instructions

  • Download AGDS8_SP1.zip. Note the directory to which you download the file (for example, C:\Temp)
  • Decompress (unzip) the file.
  • On the Windows Start menu, click the Run command.
  • In the Run dialog box, enter the setup command: setup For example, if the files were in to C:\Temp, unzip C:\Temp\setup.
  • To begin the setup, click OK. For more information, please see the instructions in Chapter 2 “Setup and Installation” in the Getting Started Guide.
