| Running Élan Network License Manager alongside FLEXlm® on the same serverIssueYou want to know if you can run the network license management technologies used for AutoCAD® 2000/2000i and AutoCAD 2002 through AutoCAD 2009 software on the same computer. SolutionBoth ELAN and FLEXlm® license management technologies can run on the same computer. However, you should be aware of the following: - If both license management technologies are installed on the same computer, they may display the same default install path during installation. It is strongly recommended that you install each license manager in a separate folder. Note: This only applies to AutoCAD® 2000 and AutoCAD 2002.
- The FLEXlm® technology used since AutoCAD 2002 cannot be used to distribute licenses for AutoCAD 2000i, AutoCAD 2000, or AutoCAD Release 14-based software.
- The Elan license management technology administers licenses for AutoCAD 2000i, AutoCAD 2000, and AutoCAD Release 14-based software only.
