If you are using the latest version of AutoCAD then you already have a database of support information on your computer that was created by AutoCAD Product Support Technicians. Check out the new AutoCAD Support Assistance inside AutoCAD 2000!

AutoCAD Support Assistance contains hundreds of answers to troubleshooting and 'how-to' questions. Each answer is presented in a concise Issue/Solution format. Select "Support Assistance" from the Help menu in AutoCAD 2000 to begin your search. You can find information in Support Assistance by category listing or by searching on keywords.

Best of all, the AutoCAD Support Assistance knowledgebase is updated quarterly to provide you with the latest questions and answers about AutoCAD. You can download the latest content from inside Support Assistance. Launch Support Assistance and select the 'Download' link on the main page. Follow the instructions to verify that you have the latest files. If your files are out of date, the newer files will be automatically downloaded from the Autodesk Website.

If you installed AutoCAD 2000 but you did not install Support Assistance, you can still download the latest version of the knowledgebase from this page. Download these files by selecting the link above. Next, unzip these files into your /Help directory under the AutoCAD 2000 main directory.
