Transferring a stand-alone Smoke license to another workstation
Issue
You want to transfer your stand-alone smoke license to another workstation. This article will show you how.
Note that these instructions do not apply to network licenses. For information on borrowing a network license, see TS21195798.
Solution
Perform the following steps to transfer a stand-alone license to another workstation:
Open the Applications > Autodesk > Smoke > Utilities > LTU app on the workstation with an active license.
Click Sign In to begin the license export process. The Autodesk RegisterOnce web page opens in a new window.
Log in with your Autodesk ID. This is the same ID and password you use on the Autodesk Subscription Center or the Autodesk Student Portal.
Click Export to export your license. The license will be disconnected from your workstation and stored in your Autodesk account online.
To enable the license on the second workstation, install Smoke using the same serial number as the exported license, then perform steps 1 to 4 in this procedure to import the license.
