| Renaming an SQL ProjectIssueYou would like to know what steps are need to rename an SQL server based project. SolutionTo rename an SQL project you must manually edit: - Open SQL Management Studio and browse the databases for the project that you wish to rename.
- Right-click the four database in turn (PnID, Piping, Ortho & Iso) and select “Rename” and edit the database to the name you intend to use for the project. This step is optional but makes identification of the projects easier.
In the example below the project databases are being renamed from ProjectAA to Project51:
 - Once you have renamed the databases browse to the dbo.PnPProject table.
 - Right-click the table and select "Edit Top 200 Rows" and edit the Project_Name. Do this for all four project databases (PnID, Piping, Ortho & Iso).
 - Open the Project.xml file for the project using an XML or text editor and change the project name.
 - Then do the same for the *Part.XML files. These are located in the same folder as the Project.xml file.
 - Finally, using a text editor, open each of the four *.DCF files (PnID, Piping, Ortho & Iso) from the root of the project and change the name to match the database name that was set in step 2 of this solution.
 - Now when the project is opened the updated name can be seen in the Project Manager.

Important: Always ensure you have made a backup of you project data before attempting to do the procedure documented above.
