Inventor unexpectedly exits due to .NET Framework 4.0 instability

Inventor unexpectedly exits due to a managed memory consumption issue while working with large or complex datasets.  You may see the Autodesk Inventor CER dialog, the Microsoft CER dialog or Inventor may just quick exit.

To address this issue Microsoft has released Hotfix KB2714396. Please follow the link below to request this Hotfix directly from Microsoft:

Issue #2 of this hotfix addresses the Inventor exit issue.  In addition you will need to edit - C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2013\Bin\Inventor.exe.config file and add the “ReserveMemoryForJumpStubs” line towards the bottom of this file.
