How to register for the Autodesk Education Community

To register for the Education Community, follow the below steps:

1. Go to the Autodesk Education Community and click on Register on the top right corner of the homepage.

2. Select your Country, enter your Email and indicate whether you are a Student, Faculty/Teacher or Mentor/Coach.  Click Continue to Step 2.

3. Fill in your Name, Username & Password, Security Question and Date of Birth.
   
   Select the box indicating that you've read and agree to the Education Community Terms and Conditions.
   
   If you're using an email for a school already recognized in our database, you won't need to enter any further information. Click Continue to Step 3.

If you're using a personal email or an email for a school not yet in our database, you'll need to also select your School State/Region, City and Name.

Note: If you can't find your school in the list, select Add My School and provide the Name, Type and Website so we can add it!  For homeschool students, just select Homeschool.

Click Continue to Step 3.

4. You'll receive an email from the Education Community containing a link. Click this to activate your account.
   
   Note: If you don't see this email, check your Junk folder.
   
   You can also choose to activate your account using Facebook (you must have a Facebook account) or by SMS Text Message (currently only available in the United States).

5. Once your account is activated, you can edit your Profile or click Save changes! Take me to the free software to begin downloading your student products.
   
   Note: For Students, My Disciplines and Graduation Year are required fields.
