Error 29001. Vault management error: Could not load file or assembly 'IFilterWrapper'
When installing Vault Server 2013 on a machine that previously had either Vault 2011 or 2012 installed, you received the following error during the installation:
Error 29001. Vault management error: Could not load file or assembly 'IFilterWrapper' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.
To correct this, please make the following changes inside of Internet Information Services (IIS). This can be done prior to installation to avoid the error. 1. Launch the IIS Manager from Control Panel -> Administrative Tools. 2. Identify the Application Pool currently hosting the Vault application (DefaultAppPool is common) 3. Right click the application pool identified, and choose View Applications. 4. Select the applications listed, right click and choose Change Application Pool. 5. Move the applications into the ASP.NET v4.0 application pool. 6. Verify the ASP.NET v4.0 application pool settings by right clicking the application pool and choosing Advanced Settings. Ensure Enable 32-Bit Application: is False. 7. Run the installer again
