AutoCAD Profile Switch in a Vertical ProductIssueYou have installed one of the Autodesk AutoCAD vertical products, and would like to boot the software to the AutoCAD profile, as opposed to the feature vertical profile. SolutionIf you are using a desktop icon to open your AutoCAD vertical product, check the target (right-click properties) to see what profile is being used. In your path it should look something like this: "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD <vertical product>\acad.exe" /ld "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD <vertical product>\AecBase.dbx" /p "AutoCAD <vertical product>" The text after the /p character is the profile to be used on open so in this case where you want to designate the core AutoCAD profile it would look like this: "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD <vertical product>\acad.exe" /ld "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD <vertical product>\AecBase.dbx" /p "AutoCAD" You could also set the profile from Options > Profiles and make your preferred profile current.
