Unable to rehost electrical panels because Pick New Host is disabled

Issue

You are unable to rehost an electrical panel because the Pick New Host button is greyed out.

Solution

For performance reasons, Pick New Host is disabled when there are a large number of circuits or a large number of elements circuited to the panel.

To rehost the panel:

  1. Create a similar panel next to the panel in question.
  2. Move some of the circuits to that panel, thus minimizing the number of circuits and enabling the Pick New Host button.
  3. Rehost the original panel.
  4. Recircuit the panel.
