Borrowing a network license for Autodesk Quantity Takeoff

Issue

You want to borrow a network license for Autodesk Quantity Takeoff.

Solution

To borrow a network license for Autodesk Quantity Takeoff:

1. In the menu bar of Autodesk Quantity Takeoff, select Help > About Autodesk Quantity Takeoff.
2. In the About Autodesk Quantity Takeoff window, click Product Information.
3. In the Product and License Information window, click Borrow License.
4. In the Borrow a License dialog box, select an expiration date in the calendar for the license to be automatically returned to the license server.
5. Click Borrow License.

A License Borrowed dialog will display stating that you successfully borrowed a license.

You can return the borrowed license before it expires. To return the license early:

1. In the menu bar of Autodesk Quantity Takeoff, select Help > About Autodesk Quantity Takeoff.
2. In the About Autodesk Quantity Takeoff window, click Product Information.
3. In the Product and License Information window, click Return License.
4. Click Yes to return the borrowed license now.

A License Return dialog will display stating that the borrowed license has been successfully returned.
