"There was a problem displaying the page" error when opening an .ato project fileIssueWhen you open an .ato project in Quantity Takeoff, you receive the following error message and the project fails to open: There was a problem displaying the page
Other Windows user accounts may be able to open this same .ato file without the error occurring. If you create a new project and import the same sheets, this same error message may occur the next time you open that newly created project. SolutionThis issue is caused by certain PDF sheets that are included in the project. These sheets cannot be displayed after reopening the .ato project. Hotfix release 2 for Autodesk Quantity Takeoff 2012 addresses a potential corruption of .ato files when working with PDF files. This hotfix is available through the link below: QTO 2012 HotFix 2 - PDF Memory Usage & Corruption Issues In some cases in which Hotfix 2 is unable to resolve the error, creating a new Windows user profile and logging in as that user resolves the issue.
