Known Issue - Simulation CFD 2013 Initial Release Regarding Localization

Problem

If a user installs Simulation CFD 2013 on a localized Windows OS that the software does not support, they will receive an Autodesk License Manager (ADLM) error message at startup.

Solution

During the install process the ADLM software was configured for the language that your OS is localized to, even if Simulation CFD 2013 does not support that language.  To enable your software the ADLM language environment needs to be set back to English.

Run this batch file from your computer by right clicking on the batch file and picking ‘run as administrator’ or double-click if you are running from Windows XP.

For Reference these are the languages that are supported in Simulation CFD 2013: English, French, German, Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), and Japanese.  Therefore, if your localization is outside of this list, this solution will probably apply to you.

If this does not solve your issue please contact the support team for assistance or reach out to us in the forums.
