Unable to import models in Showcase

Issue

When trying to import or open any files in to showcase you get and error "Direct connect has stopped working"

Solution

There are 2 possible solutions to this:

  1. Clear out your User TEMP folder, Showcase will save some files in the temp directory and could cause your system to get full therefore; you will not be able to open files.
  2. Reinstall Direct connect from Add\Remove programs.
