2014: Autodesk Simulation Moldflow Product Key Information

The product key required during installation is a vital component to the installation process.  It controls what the installer for each product generates as license requirements for specific functionality within the software.  Entering an incorrect product key will cause additional issues down the line, and in many cases will prevent you from even finishing the installation.

As the product key dictates what license is required for a specific functionality, it is imperative you use the correct product key especially when installing the Simulation Moldflow Insight Solvers and the Simulation Moldflow Adviser software.  Whereas other programs, such as Synergy and Design Link won't allow you to complete their installation with an incorrect product key, the Simulation Moldflow Insight Solvers and Simulation Moldflow Adviser software will.  But should you provide the incorrect product key for the latter, the license access you have will be restricted.

The product key is provided, along with the corresponding serial number, in the following places:

• If you received physical media in the form of a DVD or USB drive, the product key will be on the reverse of the package along with the serial number.
• Emails from Electronic Fulfillment notifying you of your new product(s) availability, will include the corresponding serial number(s) and product key(s).
• Contract administrators can log onto the Subscription Center to check for their serial number(s) and product key(s) in the contract administration area of the login.
