Raster Design will not properly install and function in some mixed license configurations.
Solution
For the 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 releases, the following text has been available in the Readme file for AutoCAD Raster Design:
Install and License Methods Must Match Host Application
With the new licensing system, AutoCAD Raster Design installation and licensing methods must match that of the host AutoCAD-based product. For example, if you install the host application as a network installation, you must also install AutoCAD Raster Design as a network installation.
In addition to the above options, you may also install the host application as a standalone installation and Raster Design as a network installation in order to share a limited set of Raster Design licenses between a larger group of AutoCAD users.
