| Leader and dimension arrowhead blocks display on different layer when printed to PDF DocumentIssueAll leader and dimension arrowhead blocks except closed fill assigned to a specific dimension layer in the model layout display in layer “0” when printed to PDF.

In this example the leader and dimension are drawn on the layer called “Dimension” using the “_dot” arrowhead block and when it is printed to PDF using the “DWG to PDF” Driver the arrowhead of the leader and dimension display on layer “0”. This is clear when layer “0” is switched on or off in the PDF Document. This occurs for all arrowhead blocks except closed fill. SolutionThe solution described below is for the “_dot” arrowhead block, but this applies for all arrowheads except closed fill, which is not affected by this issue. Open the drawing containing the “_dot” arrowhead block in AutoCAD 2012. Select model space layout tab. Enter Bedit in the command line and select the arrowhead block called "_dot" from the "Edit Block Definition" dialog box and select "OK" and the arrowhead is ready for editing. Select all the entities that make up the block and assign them to the desired dimension layer. Select "Close Block Editor" and save.
