In a continued effort to improve, we are releasing this hotfix for AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012.
This Hotfix resolves an issue where the Prospector would lock-up when adding or editing multiple Point Groups, Point Group Styles or multiple other Civil object groups or styles in the Prospector.
Note: While the lock-up can be released without the hotfix by selecting the Control (CTRL) key, it will not prevent the issue from occuring again.
Perform the following steps to apply this hotfix:
Download and unzip the following file to your local machine.
Select either the 32 or 64-bit folder according to your operating system, right-click and Copy the AxUi.arx file inside.
Browse to the installation location of AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 on your machine (ie C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012\)
Right-click, select Paste and the option to replace the existing AxUi.arx file in this directory.
Relaunch AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 and confirm your issue is resolved.
