How to download software from Subscription Center using the Download Now method

Scenario

You are a Subscription Customer and need to download Autodesk software from Subscription Center using the Download Now method.

Solution

The Download Now method uses the Autodesk Download Manager, which enables an optimized download and is significantly more efficient and reliable than conventional browser downloads.

Recommended if you want the best download experience but want to install at a later time and/or on a different computer. 

Get help deciding which download method is right for you.

Note: To download software you must have access to full product downloads. If you don't have the appropriate access, contact your Contract Manager.

  1. Log into Subscription Center and click Get Your Upgrade.

  1. Select the Product and Version you want to download.

    Note: You can filter the list of products by language, platform and content type or search for products directly by name from the top menu.

    *Important* - All 2014 AutoCAD products and verticals have been renamed in conjunction with our new company branding to include “Autodesk” in their titles. When downloading from products from Subscription Center, there will be 2 separate entries for your AutoCAD entitlements. The previous, containing 2013 and previous versions (ex. AutoCAD), and the new product name encompassing the 2014 release and previous versions (ex. Autodesk AutoCAD).

  1. Find your desired Language and OS Type and then select Download Now from the download method drop down.

    Note: For Windows systems, 32-bit or 64-bit refers to the version of your operating system, which you can check by going to Control Panel > System . You must choose the correct version in order to use the software.

  1. When using the Download Now method, you'll need to first download the Autodesk Download Manager before you begin downloading your software.

    Click Run, then read and Agree to the Download Manager License Agreement. When finished click Install.

  1. Once the Download Manager has been installed, it will begin downloading your software. Click OK to save the download in the default location (recommended).


  1. When the download is complete, you can click Install to begin installing your software immediately or click the folder icon to install at a later time.


  1. If you choose to install your software immediately, make sure to have your Serial Number and Product key available.
