This issue effects Ecotect 2011 installed on XP systems when no other Autodesk products are installed. When Ecotect Analysis 2011 is first started the Autodesk License manager (adlmint.dll) may fail to start. When the error occurs, the following dialog will appear:
You will also see the following error in the Systems Event Log:
“Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC80.CRT could not be found and Last Error was The referenced assembly is not installed on your system.”
Solution
Complete the following steps to address the error:
