Problems using iLogic in Inventor 2012

Issue

After installing Inventor 2012, Inventor cannot load the iLogic add-in or using one iLogic functionality, as, for instance, Add Form, you get an unhandled exception error, (see the images below).

Solution

The problem is related to the .NET 4.0 Framework version used from the beta version of Inventor installed previously on the machine. (note the string "Version=4.0.0.0." in the error dialog).

For solving the problem.

  • Download the attached file.
  • Extract the exe file in one folder of the machine.
  • Close Inventor.
  • Double-click on the exe file.
  • In the following window, click on Clean Up.

  • When the tool has completed the tasks, restart Inventor.

Note: You only need to run this utility if you installed Beta 3
