Creating Deployment images for Product Design Suite

Issue:

When you are creating a deployment image from a computer that has the applications from the Product Design Suite products already installed, it may cause the deployment to fail with an error indicating that an .msi file could not be found.

Solution:

This issue was found to occur when creating a deployment for an OS platform different from the source when applications from the Product Design Suite were already present. While the Deployment wizard allows for you to create images for both 32bit or 64bit installations from a single machine, we have seen issues when creating deployments when for differing OS architectures when applications from the Product Design Suite have already been installed. Here are the suggested methods to avoid the issue.

Method 1 (Recommended solution): Create the deployment image from a computer that does not have Product Design Suite products installed.

Method 2: If you must install from a system with a pre-existing applications installed, use a32bit machine to create your 32bit deployment image and use a 64bit machine to create the 64bit deployment image.
